Santoprene rubber
Santoprene rubber is a high performance elastomer in the thermoplastic rubber family. The composition of Santoprene rubber is highly cross linked rubber particles diverse throughout a constant matrix of thermoplastic material. This rubber has an absurd fluid resistance when compare to further synthetic rubber materials such as neoprene or SBR.
Santoprene themoplastic rubber is a group of high performance elastomers which successfully join individuality of vulcanized rubber, such as flexibility and low compression set, with the processing ease of thermoplastics. It is available in a smooth top and a block outside design. Santoprene must be measured when a highly sophisticated rubber sheet is desired, specially for automotive applications.
Santoprene rubber has excellent flexibility and little compression set. Having these characteristic generally makes it difficult to process, however, Santoprene rubber is mostly simple to process with these traits being a factor.
Santoprene rubber offers quite a lot of options in processing the material for the automotive, food handling & medical industries. As a result, Santoprene rubber is being specific and can be used in many applications from energy to lab uses.
